Versace for H&M

I heard about the new Versace range for H&M today and thought I'd share it with you lovely bloggers because they have some amazing items on the website. H&M have done a lot of collaborations with designers which I think is really good because it kind of closes the gap between high-street and designer and gets everyone excited because they can buy some designers clothes cheaper!

If you haven't already seen this yet then go on the H&M website here now! I really feel there is something for everyone in this collection. Versace have done two opposites really, one half of the collection is full of bright colours and bright, crazy prints and the other half is much more simplistic yet sexy with the black and silver colours and the use of leather and studs playing a huge part.

Here are just of the few images from the photo shoot that you initially see, however once you click on the images you can then click to see the whole collection.

So what do you think? I really love the black collection and the use of the studs. The collection goes on sale on the 17th November online and instore at 9:00am so don't miss out!!

72. We found love in a hopeless place

Blouse:  New Look
Shorts:  DIY, Self Made
Tights:  Primark
Shoes:  New Look

This is what I wore yesterday. I've got a bit of a different background going on aswell because I was up in Farnham to see my boyfriend so he took the photo's for me :) I made these shorts the night before and I think they turned out really well, I really love them! I paired it with my cream blouse with the black ribbon detail and peter pan collar, sheer tights and ankle boots because the weather is still up and down.

I also have to mention that I am really busy with uni work at the moment so I appologise if I don't blog much for the next two weeks. I'm going to try my best to keep up but it'll probably only be a few outfit posts every now and then, but we'll see. I have two men's jackets to make and a belt and braces to make along with all the sketchbook work and illustrations to go with them. Ergh, what have I been doing with myself the last few weeks?!

Help Save Goldhawk Road!

I recently discovered that there are plans to close down Goldhawk Road in London and get rid of all the lovely fabric shops down there and all of the other shops too. This road is literally mine and many more people's saviour when buying fabric for uni work etc.

If you would like to help save this road and help the shops stay put then please sign the petition below and spread the word. We need as many people as possible to back this petition, it means a lot to so many people. You don't have to pay and you can even link it to your facebook account to spread the word quicker.

'The Goldhawk Road shops and Shepherds Bush Market is the glue that holds our unique and diverse community together. They are one of the last bastions of working class heritage remaining in London'.

Thank you for your support, hopefully we can all help to save Goldhawk Road.

71. And then I met you...

Blouse:  Primark
Shorts:  DIY
Tights:  New Look
Shoes:  River Island

Not the best outfit photo's today but I really like the outfit so I thought I'd put them up anyway, seeing as it's been a while. Sorry I don't post much recently, I'm just so busy with uni work and I took my brother to the airport early this morning so that he can travel the world for 2 years! It was an emotional morning to say the least!

Anyway, back to the outfit. I had no idea what to wear today. I feel like I'm always wearing shorts and tights recently so I feel like I need to change it up a bit, but to be honest I just think shorts and tights are so comfortable and also look stylish and effortless at the same time. We'll see what happens, I'm forever changing my favourite items of clothing! So my outfit it pretty formal today with the white and grey shades but at the same time it's not too powerful. I think the material of the blouse kind of makes it a bit more casual because it's loose and free and not tight. I've gone for grey patterned tights and my grey ankle boots from River Island a few years ago to finish the look!

Hope you like it and are all having a good Tuesday :)

Make It Mine Monday

Hello all! It's Monday again and I've found yet more items that I want to buy with money I don't have..! This week is a little different because I have been looking at designer rather than the usual high-street names, but the reason for this is someone in my lecture did a presentation on Jeffrey Campbell shoes the other day and it just made me want a pair even more! I've always wanted a pair anyway, seeing people wear them on Lookbook etc they just look amazing! And the girl that gave the lecture wore them to uni a few days before hand and I did wonder if they were real but they are! Oh so very jealous. So today is a special Make It Mine for my love for Jeffrey Campbell shoes.

So, these are all the beautiful Jeffrey Campbell shoes that I want. Not necessarily all in black, they're just the colours I found them in first. If I had the money to buy each style then I really would! They are just so beautiful and unusual and I know they are really popular on Lookbook and places like that, but that's not why I want them, I just think they look different and stylish would certainly add a bit of height! I especially love the last pair because they are so unique yet elegant and classy. I am wondering if they would be easy enough to walk in or maybe a bit difficult, like you were walking on your tip-toes, but I would love to try them!

I'm intrigued to know if anyone reading this has got a pair and how much they cost? I would love to know as I am seriously considering buying some myself! I have seen them selling on ebay so I may have another nosey over there!

Also, (sorry for the essay today!) I just wanted to thank all of my new followers courtesy of Chelsea over at 'Let's put our hearts together' for posting about my blog. I really appreciate everyone who takes the time to look at my blog and even more the people who follow! So thank you so much, I hope you enjoy reading my blog :)

70. Sometimes it's hard, to follow your heart

Headband:  New Look
Cardigan:  New Look
Top:  Vanna (Shop in Greece)
Belt:  Vintage
Skirt:  DIY
Tights:  Primark
Shoes:  New Look

This is what I wore today. I wanted to create a look around these boots because I just love them and need to wear them more often. They are great for the autumn weather and add a little height which is also good because I am so short! I've gone for a running theme of the burgundy colour in my skirt and knitted headband to go with the boots and added navy as my second colour with the top and belt, and then finished off with standard black tights and my chunky cream cardigan to lighten the outfit slightly. I really love this outfit actually, it's possibly a new favourite which I will wear more often because it's just so comfy and cosey with the cardigan on these cold days lately, but still a stylish outfit underneath.

I have to say I am really looking forward to layering up and wrapping up warm this winter!

Make It Mine Monday

Hey lovelies! Oooh it's been so long since I've done a Make It Mine post, but better late than never, ey? Today I've been scanning the sale on ASOS seeing what I could buy. They've got some good things on there at the moment but I was still drawn to some of the full priced clothing and accessories. Anyway, here's a few items I've picked out today which I'll hopefully purchase in the near future!

Firstly, I really want this fur collar from H&M! I just think it's gorgeous and would great with my mac coat. It's only £12.99 and I've tried it on and it sits really well but I didn't buy it at the time because I wanted to see if there were any cheaper fur collars going, but I think this could be the cheapest and the nicest I have found so far!

I love this little oval stone ring from Asos. It comes in at £12.00 but I just love the shape and I think it would go with almost anything being a neutral colour.

I've been looking for some nice black brogues/any flats that aren't dollie shoes for ages now but I haven't been able to find any that I really love. However I found these little beauties on the Asos website for £40.00, which is usually a bit much for me so I might wait and see if they go into the sale or maybe just treat myself!

Lastly is this gorgeous dress, also from Asos, priced at £25.00. The front is very plain and a very cute little black dress and then the back just makes it that bit more sexy and interesting. I've been wanting a dress like this for a while now but never been brave enough to order one because I'm too lazy to send it back if it doesn't fit, but I feel like I might just go for it this time and hope for the best!

Sorry it's only a little post today. I have so much uni work to do so I'm in a bit of a hurry! I really need to start getting this project together before I get told off!! Have a good evening everyone!

69. I confess, I'm a mess..

Blouse:  Charity Shop
Shorts:  DIY, Self Made
Shoes:  River Island

Today I'm wearing my white, lace blouse with my self made, formal shorts. I feel like I don't wear this blouse enough because it is actually a size 18 but I've still kept it because I do wear it ever now and then, and when I do wear it again I remember why I still have it. I think it's a gorgeous blouse, and I did get a few compliments today on it too! I've gone for grey fashion tights and grey ankle boots to keep a good theme running but then added a tan belt to add that little bit of colour to the outfit so that it's not all grey and white. Hope you like it!

68. Leopard & Leather

Jacket:  Topshop
Dress:  AX Paris
Shoes:  New Look

This is what I wore to uni today. It has been soo cold so I have literally worn my leather jacket all week to keep me warm and cosy! I did originally have my hair down with this outfit at uni today but when I got home I shoved it up and actually really liked it so I think I will be doing this messy ponytail more often. What do you think? I've had this dress for about 2 years now and I still love it! I am planning on wearing it alot more this winter seeing as leopard print is making a come back. It's just a really simple and easy outfit to wear, especially when you're in a hurry, and I think it just looks really stylish. Pairing it with my leather jacket just gives it some edge and I've finished off with plain black tights (thick because it's so cold) and lastly my little ankle shoes.

Hope you've all had a good week and have a good weekend!

67. Don't waste your precious time

Blouse:  New Look
Necklace:  Present
Skirt:  New Look
Tights:  Primark
Shoes:  New Look

This is what I wore today. I really love this blouse because the sleeves are a different colour to the body of the blouse but I think it works and makes it interesting. I added the pink necklace to add some detail and so that the outfit wasn't too black with the plain bodycon skirt and then finished with my new fashion tights which I got from Primark last week and boots.

I went back to uni yesterday for my second year and got a project already! I have to design and make a men's coat or jacket and an accessory to go with it. I'm quite looking forward to it because we get longer on our projects this year than we did last year and it will be good to try menswear again, although I am a womenswear kind of girl! So hopefully, if I get it all finished, then I'll post up a picture of my final outcomes, so wish me luck!

In other news, I am really trying hard to get my blog more noticed and get more followers because I want to progress with making clothes next year and hopefully send them out to all sorts of places across the country. However I can't do that until next summer because I really need to concentrate on my uni work for this year. If anyone has any tips or advice on how they got their blogs noticed that would be really helpful. I am open to critisism too. Thank you! Hope you're all having a lovely Tuesday! :)
