Sunday Summary #1

Hello beauties!

I decided a few days ago that I would sit down and write a list of things that I want to change about my blog for the new year, or new posts that I could feature on my blog, to keep it running through my last gruelling months of uni. I came up with writing a 'Sunday Summary' each week to keep you guys informed of what I have been up to throughout the past week and I what I have to look forward to (or maybe not so with deadlines looming) in the next coming week. I have seen a few blogs do this sort of thing and I really enjoy reading them, and seeing as my life is so up in the air at the moment with my 'third year fear' I thought I would share my thoughts and what not with you all. Sound good? Ok, then I'll get started.

This week has of course been Christmas!! I hope you all had a lovely time with your family and friends. I had a lovely time, although unfortunately I had to work Christmas Eve and Boxing Day which meant that I only had one day off throughout the festive days and further meant that I had to split my day between my family as my parents are now separated. I was a bit worried about how it would all pan out spending one half with one parent and the other with my other parent, however I actually had a really lovely day and didn't get upset at all, and I even got to spend the evening with my boyfriend which was the icing on the cake for me. I got some lovely gifts, took some lovely photos and had a real laugh with my family.

After Boxing Day I spent the Thursday and Friday with my boyfriend which was super lovely! We're hoping to move in together soon once we've saved up enough money etc so living together for those two days just made me even more excited to move in with him. We went shopping in the sales on the Thursday and I have to say I wasn't that impressed with the sales. I only ended up buying two things in Urban outfitters (which I will show you in video format tomorrow, third time lucky I hope!!) which is quite good because it keeps my bank balance happy.

Lastly, to finish the week, Saturday and today (Sunday, obv) have been spent at work keeping frantic sales shoppers happy and giving them the best possible service they could possibly get in a boiling hot shop... :| Saturday wasn't so bad, however today was a slight nightmare as the tills decided that they would not accept gift cards or credit notes today which defeats the whole point of half of the shoppers coming shopping. My, oh my the customers were not happy and my managers had a few to deal with. Obviously I can understand their frustration, we were just as annoyed! But hey, that's just the way it goes sometimes!

I have one more thing to add before I end my long rambling. I had to set up a new YouTube channel last night as I created my first channel when I was in school and I created a horrible, cringy username which you cannot change. Being as I am 21 now I didn't think it appropriate to keep it that way, so here is the link to my new channel with my one video soon to be joined by lots more. Please, please subscribe as I have hopefully two more video's coming tomorrow, so please stay tuned!

I hope I haven't bored you too much with my ramblings! Have a lovely evening all :)

188. Geek Chic

Bag: Charity Shop
Everything else:  New Look

Good morning beauties!

I am up bright and early today as I have work, yet again...But hey ho, I thought I would get outside and take my outfit photos as it will be dark by the time I get home. I'm going for a sort of 'Geek Chic' look today with the geek glasses but I quite like it. I have had these geek glasses for a while now but haven't actually worn them because I think they make me look too geeky, but I'm going with it today and embracing the geek look! We'll see what people think, I don't know why I care but I do. Horrible trait to have. Does anyone else care what other people think about what they wear etc even when you know you shouldn't?

Anyway, Merry Christmas Eve, Eve! I hope you all have a lovely day and please check out my YouTube video if you haven't already. Another will be coming very soon!!

187. It's us against the world

Jumper:  Charming Magpie's
Skirt:  In love with fashion
Socks:  Peacocks
Boots:  New Look

Hello everyone!

Here is today's look, all warm and snug in my vintage jumper and lace socks! I bought these socks yesterday from Peacocks and they're actually age 7-10 but still fit so I'm happy haha! I've gone a bit monochrome today without that intention, but I still really like this outfit dispite the lack of colour. Infact I mainly wanted to wear the pleated skirt as I mentioned it in my YouTube video yesterday as it's one of my new favourites. If you haven't already seen my first video click here and please give a thumbs up or subscribe if you want to see more! I did do another video this afternoon on the charity items that I bought today, however it was all out of focus so I'll shoot it again tomorrow hopefully. Stay tuned!!

Hope you're all getting in the festive mood, I'll be doing a Christmas post on Christmas Eve :) Have a lovely weekend!

Beautiful Frost

Top:  Primark
Jumper:  Chairty Shop
Blazer:  Charity Shop
Disco Pants:  River Island
Boots:  New Look

Hello lovelies! My, oh my, it has been a very long time since I last posted, I do appologise. I have been so overwhelmed and stressed with my uni work recently that my blog has been pushed to the back of my mind unfortunately. However, I had my last tutorial of 2012 yesterday and it went rather well considering my lack of work so that cheered me up a bit, so much so that I decided to spend the day with my boyfriend in Farnham where the frost on the tree's was just beautiful.

I wasn't sure whether to do this post as and outfit post or not or whether to put my outfit on lookbook but I decided against it today as I knew the images wouldn't get much of a look in. So anyway, I thought I would show some of the images I took today (with my new camera!!!) of the beautiful frost on the tree's and plants and a few images of me by a really lovely blue door behind Farnham Castle to show what I was wearing today. I layered up with a jumper and my velvet blazer, and I was also wearing my trusty fur coat too. It's freezing lately!!

Also, don't forget to enter my giveaway in the post below as it ends at midnight on Saturday 15th of December! See the post below for details on how to enter and what you could win!

186. Everything at once

Blazer:  Charity Shop
Blouse:  New Look (old)
Shorts:  Greece
Boots:  New Look

Hello lovelies!

This is my outfit for today, feeling very festive with the red. I bought this blazer in Farnham on Wednesday when I was visiting my boyfriend. I saw it on the rail and instantly fell in love with the colour and pattern but it looked massive! I couldn't resist trying it on anyway and then I fell into an even deeper love! Ha! Sooo I bought it, and with a bit taken in at the sides and arms and the shoulders raised here it is! It is still over-sized but I really like that with vintage clothes so I'm happy with the way it looks :) What do you think?

Also, I will be posting about my latest giveaway tomorrow evening, as promiced, to celebrate Silent Sweetheart reaching over 300 followers so keep an eye out for that!

185. It's worth fighting for.

Blouse:  Charity Shop
Dress:  Urban Outfitters / Vintage
Rings:  Blue - NEC Birmingham Clothes Show / Gold - Urban Outfitters
Nail Varnish:  Rimmel
Boots:  New Look

Evening all!

Sorry for the late post, my internet has been playing up over the last few days but I finally managed to upload a post! I went charity shopping in Farnham yesterday with my boyfriend and bought this lovely blouse with the gorgeous embroidered collar. Now, anyone who knows me, especially you Paige, will know that I have many, many blouses in all different colours and collar styles and I said I wouldn't buy any more, but this one just stole my heart (Ha!) and for a large it's actually not too oversized and baggy which I love. Plus I figured I could wear it underneath jumpers and dresses as it's quite thin so it's easy to layer. So that is what I did today and layered it with my floral dress from Urban Outfitters alongside my trusty chelsea boots.

As you may know from my last post I haven't had the best of weeks, however seeing my boyfriend yesterday really cheered me up and made me relax and de-stress - plus the retail therapy which always helps! I also saw my lovely friend, Charlie, who helped me out a huge amount with my uni work and just generally getting me excited and motivated about my work. I don't know what it is about her but she just has a way of inspiring you and pulls out all of these fantastic ideas! She has recently started working at a place called Grand Cafe in Southampton, where I live, and it is gorgeous inside! We have made a few plans to benefit both of us which I will share with you tomorrow along with some images of the gorgeous interior so look out for that!

I hope you've all had a lovely day!

184. Treading Water

Blouse:  New Look
Collar Clips:  DIY/Self Made
Belt:  Vintage
Skirt:  DIY/Self Made
Boots:  New Look

Hello lovelies!

Just a quick one today as I am not having the best of days, or weeks for that matter! Having said that I am now sat in my boyfriend's bed, in my pj's, sipping a hot chocolate with whip-cream in my new Cath Kidston mug, so that has definitely cheered me up! Plus I had a lovely chat on the phone with one of my close friends giving me a confidence boost so that really helped, so I guess things are slightly looking up! Haha It's always the little things from your loved ones that make you feel better isn't it? :)

Anyway, today I wanted to wear a skirt as I feel like I haven't worn one in forever for some reason. I picked out this little burgundy number and paired it with my red and blue printed blouse and vintage red plait belt to tie it all in, whacked on my trusty chelsea boots and I was good to go! I have literally worn these boots 24/7 recently as they are just so, so comfy and make me that little bit taller ;) I think me and 3 of my friends at work all have these boots and cannot praise them enough, so if you're looking for a comfy but stylish pair of boots then head over to New Look on this link to get them. Plus they are only £27.99 which is really good for a decent pair of boots!

Ok so my 'quick one today' hasn't really been very quick at all.. Haha So I'll stop rambling now. I hope you're week has been better than mine so far! Oh and one more thing, thanks to all you lovely people I have now reached 303 followers on my blog! So thank you so, so much it really does mean a lot to me! I will be holding a giveaway by the end of the week so look out for that. And lastly, since you lot and everyone at home thinks I should get a fringe cut in I am going to bite the bullet and do it! Thanks for all your feedback :)

183. Life is full of wonder

Hat:  Ebay
Fringe:  Ebay
Leather Jacket:  Topshop
Dress:  New Look (Old)
Boots:  New Look

Hello! How are you all today? This is what I wore to uni today. I have been wearing my 'fake fringe' today as I am undecided whether to get a real fringe cut in or not. I used to have one a few years ago but it only lasted a few days before I pushed it back and out of the way just because it annoyed me so much! But lately I have been feeling like my hair needs something as I feel it's looking a bit boring and I bought this fake fringe from ebay a little while ago so I thought I would wear it for a week or so and if it doesn't annoy me I'll get a real one cut in. Lots of people already from Twitter and Instagram have said that I should get a real one cut in and I am very tempted! What do you think? (More images below). I have also had a little change of scenery for my outfit post today, what do you think? I do love the simple brick wall but I fancied something a little different today. Let me know your thoughts and I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

P.S - I am only 12 followers away from 300 inwhich I will hold a giveaway for all you lovelies! So please spread the word!! Thanks xx
